Wonga Park - Lower Homestead carpark

A solo kayak on the Yarra , 
nice day with little wind and mid 20's temp.

a more isolated park of the river , lots of ducks with chicks on the banks ,
a few trees to dodge but overall a very easy 10klm paddle.

Very nice Kayak with Steve on the Yarra river ,  starting from the lower homestead road carpark and  heading up river for around 5.6 klm. The river is at times narrower with a number of fallen trees to dodge around. funny enough the amount of bird and animal llife was a lot less than last week during the hot days. The journey map , a nice 11.1 klm 2:54 hrs with breaks incl   Steve the paddle master!
